GRANTS FOR THE ARTS, LITERACY, AND FAMILY VIOLENCE PREVENTION
Target Corporation offers Local Store Grants to support communities in which Target does business. Local Store Grants fund programs for the arts, early childhood reading, and family violence prevention. Grant amounts range from $1,000 to $3,000. The application deadline is May 31. AWARDS FOR YOUTH INTERNATIONALISM
The Asia Society and The Goldman Sachs Foundation are co-sponsoring the 2008 Youth Prizes for Excellence in International Education competition. High school youth are invited to write essays or create multimedia features examining a social or economic issue that has relevance to them in a global context. Up to five winners will receive $10,000 each, as well as trips to New York City to attend the awards ceremony in November. The application deadline is June 12. GRANTS FOR EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The RGK Foundation offers grants to support innovative programs in education, medicine/health, and community development. Among other things, grants support programs dedicated to attracting female and minority students into mathematics, science, and technology; promoting the health and well-being of children and increasing their access to health services; and supporting youth development. Grants average about $25,000. There is no application deadline. For more information, visit RGK Foundation.

The NonProfit Times and NozaSearch recently unveiled a searchable database of more than 4,000 corporate donations upward of $1 million. This free service requires no registration, and individuals can search for specific businesses or create an instant list by location or cause.
